Proudly Family Owned Since 1985
Since 1985, we’ve helped property owners care for natural stone. At Fabrizio & Sons, our family-owned business offers marble and stone restoration for homes and businesses in Temple Terrace.
We restore natural stone floors, countertops, and vanities, working with materials such as marble, granite, travertine, and limestone. We restore surfaces affected by everyday wear, from scratched floors to etched countertops. Our services include targeted repairs, stain treatment, honing, polishing, and sealing where appropriate.
Our approach starts with an assessment, so we can recommend the repairs and refinishing your stone actually needs. We also prepare the work area and protect nearby surfaces before restoration starts. We want you to understand the proposed work and what it can achieve, so you can decide how best to care for the stone in your home or business.
Refresh Worn Marble & Natural Stone
The right treatment depends on what is happening at the surface. A stain is absorbed discoloration, so the remedy depends on the source and how deeply it has entered the stone. An etch is different because it is chemical damage to the surface, and it is corrected through refinishing methods such as honing and polishing. For example, marble floor polishing can refine a dull or worn finish. Countertop etch correction, stain removal, chip repair, and scratch removal address different types of surface damage.
Honing uses abrasives to create a smooth matte or satin finish, while polishing refines that surface toward a higher sheen. An impregnating sealer may help reduce absorption and improve stain resistance, but it does not stop etching, scratches, wear, or every stain, and some stones may not need sealing at all.

Careful Craftsmanship for Every Stone Surface
If your stone looks dull, marked, or uneven, an assessment can show whether the problem is only surface-level or whether deeper damage and practical limits make restoration less suitable. That evaluation helps identify what can be improved and what should not be expected from refinishing.
For Temple Terrace property owners, that comparison can make the decision between restoration and replacement clearer. If the stone is still a candidate for repair, restoration may be a practical way to extend its use. Call Fabrizio & Sons to discuss marble restoration options.
