Proudly Family Owned Since 1985
We’re Fabrizio & Sons, a family-owned natural stone restoration company established in 1985. We help homeowners and businesses in Lake Mary restore worn stone throughout their properties.
Our restoration work includes marble, granite, travertine, and limestone floors, counters, vanities, and other natural stone surfaces. We provide repair and refinishing for worn stone, including honing, polishing, and correction of scratches and etch marks. We also treat stains and repair chips when the material and damage allow.
Our approach starts with an assessment, so we can recommend the repairs and refinishing your stone actually needs. We prepare and protect the surrounding area before work begins. Throughout the planning process, we focus on the condition of your stone and the improvements you want, so you can make a clear decision about restoring it.
Refresh Worn Marble & Natural Stone
The right treatment depends on the problem at hand. A stain is absorbed discoloration, so the remedy is chosen based on what caused it and how deeply it entered the stone. An etch is different because it comes from a chemical reaction at the surface, and it is corrected through refinishing methods such as honing and polishing. For example, marble floor polishing can refine a dull or worn finish. Countertop etch correction, stain removal, chip repair, and scratch removal address different types of surface damage.
Honing uses abrasives to create a smooth matte or satin finish. Polishing refines the surface toward a higher sheen. An impregnating sealer may help reduce absorption and improve stain resistance, but it does not stop etching, scratches, wear, or every stain, and some stones may not need sealing at all.

If marble in Lake Mary looks worn, it is worth determining whether the problem is mainly on the surface or part of a larger issue. An assessment can reveal scratches, dull areas, etching, uneven shine, and other conditions that may respond to restoration.
It also helps identify deeper damage and practical limits so you can decide whether restoration is the right path for the stone. If you are weighing repair against replacement, contact Fabrizio & Sons for marble restoration in Lake Mary.
